The Heritage Calgary Awards celebrate the diverse heritage of our shared home. Every second year, they honour those who have made efforts to identify, preserve and promote heritage in Calgary to help enrich our communities. 🤝

This year, Heritage Calgary is recognizing six award categories:

• Cultural landscape
• Heritage storytelling
• Advocacy and volunteerism
• Heritage trades and crafts
• Heritage guideline areas.

A meal, a little comfort and helping hands. ❤️ On Aug. 13, CREB® Board members, REALTORS® and staff spent the afternoon at Ronald McDonald House Alberta preparing and serving dinner for families staying at the House while their children receive medical care.

To demonstrate our support, the CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation also presented a one-time $1,000 donation to support the Home for Dinner program. 🤝

As we move into the second half of the year, it is not a surprise to see slower market activity. In July, both sales and new listings eased over June levels, declining to 1,904 sales and 3,323 new listings.

Sales were nine per cent lower than last year’s levels, while new listings were 15 per cent lower. The adjustment in both sales and new listings caused little change in the sales-to-new-listings ratio, which sat at 57 per cent.
