After almost 14 years working for Alberta’s real estate regulator, the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA), I decided it was time to see the industry from another perspective – as a licensed REALTOR®. I bring a unique real estate background to buyers and sellers in the Calgary area. During my time as RECA’s Communications Manager, I wrote extensively about the buying and selling process for cons

umers, and provided practice information and tips for REALTORS®. Now that I’ve joined the industry as a REALTOR®, I’m able to guide consumers through the buying and selling process in a more meaningful way. I’m confident that my experience with Alberta’s real estate regulator combined with my customer service skills help set me apart. Real estate transactions go most smoothly when buyers and sellers are comfortable with their agent; knowing they can ask questions at any time – and knowing that their agent is focused on their needs. Over the years, I’ve seen the information needs that consumers have, and I know the emotional roller coaster that can come along with buying or selling a home. My role is to make the entire process comfortable and far less daunting. Personally, I’ve bought and sold property in the highs and lows of Calgary’s market – and I’m eager to help clients navigate both. When I’m not working with clients, or completing additional training and professional development, I’m most often found spending time with my two boys.
