Her professionalism and customer service attitude comes naturally being raised in an automotive retail environment. Her parents Frank Duffin and Carrolle-lynne Duffin, owned franchise dealerships throughout her childhood, including Duffin Chevrolet Oldsmobile Cadillac in Olds Alberta, Crowfoot Ford in Calgary, and Cochrane Ford. Her parents weren't shy to put her to work from the very beginning, manning the switchboard through her childhood into high school, she dabbled in every department, and every job. where she received qualifications to run an automotive franchise dealership, a proud moment for her as the only Canadian and one of the few women. Her love of sales became evident as the New Vehicle Manager for Crowfoot Ford, having a team of 12 sales associates, they worked together to break records in sales, profitability and customer service. She moved into the General Manager position after the birth of her first child. In 2011 after over 30 years of working in the family business, the dealerships were sold and her family retired, but she didn’t.
