Before and (almost) after of my own backyard. Here’s one of the perks of owning vs renting - you get to make the improvements and updates to your house that you want! This backyard gets very limited sun so growing grass has proven to be tricky while I’ve been here.
Will I get my investment back when I am ready to sell? Maybe, maybe not. But buyers will see a finished yard instead of a project they have to budget and plan for, and use as a reason to negotiate a lower price.
What projects are you planning on tackling this year? I still have a laundry list of things I want to do, this was the big one for the year though!
