Calgary Market Update: Inventory Remains Elevated

Seasonal inventory growth continued in May, with Calgary reaching 6,752 active listings. While inventory levels are similar to last year, they remain 11% above long-term averages.

Sales activity slowed to 2,162 units, down 16% from last May, helping push the sales-to-new-listings ratio to 51%. Despite softer market activity, detached homes continue to show strength, contributing to an overall benchmark price of $570,500.
