⏰ Don’t forget to spring forward!

Daylight Saving Time starts this weekend, which means we move our clocks ahead one hour and say hello to longer, brighter evenings.

Losing an hour of sleep isn’t the best… but more daylight after work? I’ll take it. ☀️

It’s also a great reminder to:
✔️ Check your smoke detector batteries
✔️ Change furnace filters
✔️ Start dreaming about spring projects and fresh starts

The Calgary market is starting to shift.
We’re seeing more homes for sale, slightly softer prices, and buyers taking a little more time to make decisions.
Here’s the snapshot:

🏡 Benchmark Price: $560,500
⬇️ Down 4.4% from last year

📦 Inventory: 4,822 homes
⬆️ Up 16.3%

🏠 Sales: 1,526 homes sold
⬇️ Down 11.2%

🆕 New Listings: 2,766
⬇️ Slightly down 2.3%

⏳ Days on Market: 42 days
⬆️ Up 27.5%

📊 Months of Supply: 3.16

So what does this actually mean?

➡️ Buyers have more choice than they did last year
➡️ Homes are taking a little longer to sell
➡️ We’re moving toward a more balanced market

But here’s the important part:

Calgary demand is still strong, and well-priced homes are still selling.
Every neighbourhood behaves a little differently, though — some are still very competitive.
