Calgary Market Update | September 2026 📊

Here's what CREB reported for September, compared with September 2025:

• Sales: 1,650 homes (down 3.8%)
• Benchmark price, all homes: $566,700 (down 0.8%)
• Detached: $739,400 (down 1.0%)
• Semi-detached: $685,200 (up 0.1%)
• Row: $412,400 (down 5.5%)
• Apartment: $291,400 (down 8.3%)
• New listings: 3,354 (down 11.3%)
• Inventory: 6,486 homes (down 6.3%)

What it means: buyers have more room to negotiate than they did a year ago, especially on apartments and townhomes, while detached prices are holding fairly steady. Every neighbourhood moves differently, so if you're thinking about buying or selling, message us for numbers on your specific area.

One tiny seed. 🌻

That’s where this started.

My husband and my girls planted a single sunflower seed… and somehow, with a little love, patience, sunshine and rain, it grew into this incredible 9-foot sunflower with the most beautiful bloom.

And I can’t stop thinking about the lesson in it.

The seed never questions what it’s meant to become. It doesn’t worry about how tall it will grow, when it will bloom, or whether it’s capable of becoming what God created it to be.

It simply grows toward the light.

There’s something so beautiful about that kind of trust.

We spend so much of our lives wondering what’s next, whether we’re on the right path, or if the little things we’re doing today will ever become something bigger.

But God already knows what He planted inside of us. 🌻

A seed can look so small and insignificant, yet hold the promise of something so much greater.

Plant the seed. Trust the process. Keep turning toward His light.

God will take care of the growing. 🤍

And maybe that’s the sweetest lesson my little family grew in our garden this year.

The crisp air, golden leaves, cozy layers, slower mornings and that little feeling that it’s time to reset. A reminder that change can be beautiful, new seasons can bring new opportunities, and sometimes the best thing we can do is embrace where we are right now.
