It’s not every day a villa comes available in the beautiful gated community of Stonepine, just outside Calgary, especially one with a backyard and views like these, backing onto the Glencoe Golf & Country Club!

My clients have never actually lived within Calgary city limits, and after years of enjoying their beautiful home in Canmore, they decided it was time for a change of scenery. The goal? Trade mountain life for gated community life and be closer to their children and grandchildren.

I understood the assignment!

This was the very first property I showed them, and they instantly fell in love. Sometimes, when you know, you just know!

While saying goodbye to Canmore is bittersweet, I couldn’t be more excited for them as they start this next chapter, with their new home and most importantly, family a little closer.

And before anyone says anything please don’t mind my AI-generated image. Apparently AI thinks Fall Jordan is slightly more model, slightly more mysterious, and significantly more prepared for winter than actual Jordan. 😂

With the official first day of fall on September 22, I put together a quick Fall Home + Condo Checklist with some of the things worth tackling before Calgary decides to go from patio season to a snowstorm overnight.

We’re talking exterior maintenance, outdoor water lines, furnaces and fireplaces, gutters, plumbing, patios, garages, winter prep and all those little things that are much cheaper to deal with before they become big things.

Whether you own a house or a condo, a little preventative maintenance goes a long way toward protecting your home and your investment.

From start to finish… I mean START to finish. 🏡➡️🚜

Being a Realtor isn’t always listing appointments, showings and handing over keys. Sometimes it means being there from the moment the old house comes down to the day the new one is ready to call home.

And today? Demo day.

I’m not going to lie getting behind the controls of this machine had me feeling like a little boy on Christmas morning. 😂 Safe to say I was having WAY too much fun.

There’s something pretty incredible about watching a property come full circle from finding the opportunity, through demolition and construction, all the way to the finished home.

And this one is going to be something special.

Turns out I was robbed. The hair. The short shorts. The questionable amount of neon. The casual mullet. I would’ve THRIVED.
