A LOOK INSIDE GLENBOW’S NEXT CHAPTER // Construction is well underway at Glenbow, and our team recently got the chance to step inside and see the progress.

The transformation is significant — the JR Shaw Centre for Arts & Culture will span eight floors and 325,000 square feet, with 44 exhibitions, displays and installations planned throughout the new space. From the reimagined galleries and public spaces to the architectural changes taking shape throughout the building, there was a lot to see.

Targeting a 2027 reopening, it was great to see just how much has already changed and get a better sense of what the new Glenbow experience will look like.

A big thank you to the Glenbow team for showing us around and giving us a look behind the scenes.

One Friday a month, we make time to get together.

What started a few months ago has quickly become something we look forward to - a full room, familiar faces, new introductions and a chance to connect outside of the usual meetings and emails.
August was no exception.

GOLFING FOR A GREAT CAUSE //

Barclay Street’s Kris Hong, Executive Vice President, Partner; Murray Ion, Vice President, Partner; Darren Abrahamson, Senior Associate; and Allan Jones, Executive Vice President, hit the course for the 16th Annual Gordon Hoffman Charity Golf Classic in support of Foothills Academy Society.

The annual tournament brings the community together to support children and youth with Learning Disabilities and ADHD, helping provide access to valuable programs, resources and services.

It was a great day of golf, connection and community, all while supporting an organization making a meaningful difference for Calgary families.

A great day on the course, great company, and an even better cause.
