Oh what a feeling when you can be of service to a wonderful family in their search for their next “Home Sweet Home” for their growing family. Over the 10+ years they’ve owned this home they made it their own. Freshened it up and it certainly appealed to many buyers. Now a new chapter is beginning. Even the kids have started their packing. Looking forward to moving into their new home in Lake Chaparral. It took some time but isn’t THE saying, “Best things come to those who wait?!” Everything happens for a reason. Their next home was already marked for them that’s why other offers weren’t accepted. We kept a positive attitude. Stayed in communication. Worked together. It certainly was a journey on the hunt for their next “Home Sweet Home”🏡 since their family began to grow. Many came interview, but the competitive market made it challenging. They kept their positive attitude, even after not being chosen in many multiple offer situations. They kept believing their home was still waiting for them to find it. Then this Home came on market. It didn’t have the sought after south facing yard but it does get south sun and back onto a beautiful green space. They jumped into their car, grab the Family burgers and had a picnic in the park behind their future home. Checking out its location and proximity to the lake and if they could hear traffic before officially booking a showing for the next morning when showing started. Turns out we were on the same page about this home so we booked the showing. Their youngest told me about their picnic and toured me around the home once I opened the door and pointed out things he found noteworthy. A young future Realtor perhaps? He did grow up touring homes with his parents. So adorable!! Tuesday was inspection and touring the home again sparked even more smiles, excitement and appreciation for it. Make sure you have a realtor who is willing to walk along side of you because it’s not always one and done and sometimes you need someone to breathe belief into your dream when the wind lets out of your sails. Each day of the condition. I know we were all saying our prayers of gratitude tonight as we lay our heads down to sleep with BIG smiles 😃on our faces because today they firmed up their deal and the home is now theirs!! Thankfully the market is generally more balanced so buyers are able to take their time to complete their due diligence on their future home purchase. Some may think spending $550+ on an inspection isn’t worth it but I think it is. This is likely the biggest investment/purchase someone makes in a lifetime so spending a little bit of $$$ for piece of mind and possibly finding something that could end up being more costly is a good return on the investment for both the buyer and seller.
