The incredible deals I am seeing in Calgary inner-city condos are unbelievable! I think this is the only asset in the world that has decreased in the past year, and after 7 years of declines - I feel they are way undervalued. This condo has larger sq ft than most suburban homes at 1468 sq ft, has 2 parking stalls, and sold for less than 1/2 the price of a house at $198,000!!!! This type of imbalance cannot last, and we will see condo prices increasing as people get back to downtown work and the inner-city lifestyle of going to restaurants and bars comes back.

Calgary is the WORLD'S MOST AFFORDABLE CITY!!! When looking at world Real Estate prices up against the unbelievable condo prices in Calgary, I truly believe that Calgary is the world's most affordable. There aren't many places where you can get a 6 figure salary and a nice sub $100,000 downtown condo in the same city.

In comparison, the average income earner in Vancouver can now afford 54 square feet of housing, up from 40 square feet in 2006. In Calgary it is now nearly 154 square feet.

I love vintage homes and this one that just sold in Brentwood near the University of Calgary is amazing. This urban chalet would be great to restore and keep all of these amazing mid-century features like the sunken living room, that fireplace, tufted walls, and all that teak.
