Just wanted to drop my thoughts into a post about my experience at the Pacific West Conference in Vancouver for 2026.

I came into it feeling curious, hungry for knowledge, and eager to meet new people and I left feeling inspired, motivated, and equipped with what I need to proceed in this world of AI and real estate.

i'm always looking for ways to educate myself so that i can better protect and serve my clients. it benefits me, my clients, and the other party as well.

All jokes aside, what I’ve learned in the past few months as a full-time realtor is that this career takes grit, perseverance, motivation, ex*****on, and so much more to be successful.

I’m only just starting out, and I know there’s a place and time when I have to be dedicated to my craft, but I also know there’s a purpose: the balance of trying to fit in the time and space for my family and kids.

Some days that balance looks like showings after bedtime. Some days it looks like letting a call go to voicemail because I’m at the park with my kids. I don’t have it figured out yet, and I’m not sure anyone fully does. But I’d rather build this business slowly and still be there for the moments that matter than build it fast and miss them.

So yeah, I might look tired. But I’m grateful for every client who’s trusted me so far, and for a family that’s backing me while I figure it out.

Day by day. 🏡

But for now - keep on dancing

Homes like these are tough to let go of, but it all starts with sitting down, finding out the facts, setting expectations, and creating a plan. People hate surprises, so it's best to plan for those as best as you can.

I know it might sound cheesy at this point but I truly mean it when I say my clients are truly the best.

This one was particularly special. It has the yard, the attic room, the updated kitchen and bathrooms. I’m so proud of Riley and Alyssa and all their efforts in making this deal go through.

May you make the most incredible memories in your new home.

I’m taking a moment to reflect on how far I grown since starting my journey to become a real estate full-time two months ago.

I spent more than 10 years as a software engineer and now I am applying all of the skills from that career to this, and I’m starting to see the compound effect.

That’s not the say there have been hurdles and bumps along the road. I’m still trying to figure out where I can provide the best service to those who work with me.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come and how much I’m grown and I am extremely excited to see where I land in one month and years from now.

Real estate is truly not for everyone. You need to have thick skin and you need to be able to think on your toes and not be so emotionally attached to the process.

I’m exploring ways that I can be successful in this career and I am excited to see how I can apply my skills in tech to further boost my success and growth.

Today is Kai’s first day at Kindergarten where he is off on his own and I didn’t think I’d get so emotional as I did.

Kai, you are such a charming, inquisitive, kind and curious little boy and I am so lucky to be your dad.

There is one thing you say that always surprises me for a kid your age. You tell me to “Never give up and try your best Dad”, I find that true now in so many aspects of my work and home life. Things may not go your way, just try your best.

You’re going to do amazing and I can’t wait to hear all about it later!

All your little pals will miss you.

What was supposed to be a short task ended up me driving to five different stores and eventually ending up at home hardware they were the only store that had butane in stock.

Now that I all stocked up on butane ready to go camping hope everyone has a good weekend!!
