🌞 Your Lake Louise and Moraine Lake day starts before you arrive!

Last year, more than 1 million visitors used Parks Canada shuttles to visit these iconic lakes. To make your visit smoother, plan ahead and book early.

Shuttle seats open for reservation at 8 am MT, two days before your departure.
🚌 Service start dates:
• Lake Louise: Friday, May 15
• Moraine Lake: Monday, June 1
That means reservations for this Friday’s Lake Louise shuttle will be available tomorrow at 8 am MT.

How to book a Parks Canada shuttle:
1️⃣ Visit https://parks.canada.ca/reserve-day-use and select “Shuttle to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake (Banff)” under the Day Use tab. Enter your arrival date and group size.
2️⃣ Choose your preferred time range for the lake you want to visit.
3️⃣ Select an available departure time and choose Reserve. Review and accept the acknowledgement.
4️⃣ Proceed to checkout and sign in using Facebook, Google, GCKey, or Interac. Complete payment to finalize your reservation.

ℹ️ Good to know:
• Once Moraine Lake Road opens, one shuttle reservation allows access to BOTH lakes on the same day, using the Lake Connector shuttle (included).
• Please arrive at the Lake Louise Park and Ride before your scheduled departure time.

This is your chance to try summer skiing in 2026.
Who’s gonna try it???

Our response, when asked what we’re doing on Canada Day.

Yep, you read that right. Thanks to nearly 1000 cm of Canada’s Best Snow landing on our Rocky Mountains slopes this ski season, we will open on June 20th for 16 days of summer skiing and riding.

Our plan is to open Strawberry Express and maybe another lift starting June 20th, and offer summer skiing until July 5th.

Our decision to host summer skiing is thanks to record snowfall. For anyone planning to join us for some summer turns our hotel Sunshine Mountain Lodge will be open for guests.

Another great day on the hill. ⛷️
Snow was good, temperature was comfortable, and the view was incredible!!
