I've been hoping to have more than 2 minutes at the house to give you a good video update, but this will have to do. Things are progressing really well! The tapers are busy, and Troy has started on the siding. I've sourced all the light fixtures and faucets, but still need to pick out flooring, cabinet hardware, and bathroom shower tile. Exciting to know that paint will be going on the walls next week!

This may not look like much to you, but it makes me so happy! There's something about when that drywall starts going up and the old starts to look new...😍 While I've been a block over at the office, has been busy, and so much has happened. The mudroom exterior door has been installed, the electrical service has been upgraded from fuses to a breaker panel, the electrical rough-in is done, the plumbing rough-in is done, the new hot water tank is plumbed in, and the chimney has been removed.

How are things going? Well, all the new windows are in, most of the demolition is done, and the new walls are framed. Troy is going hard on the roof this week to get the new shingles on while the weather is nice. As you can see, some of the strapping on the ceiling is done as well, as we will be adding potlights and new drywall up there. The bathroom tub is also in place. The plumber has started and hopefully we'll be seeing the electrician at the end of the week!

I haven't been present on social media, and that's not something I'm going to apologize for. We prioritize what is important, and social media rarely tops my very long list of things I'm responsible for. That being said, I just finished an evening with 6 house showings. It doesn't always line up that nicely, but with an out of town client, it sure is nice when it does!

Fun fact: I worked at a golf course for 4.5 years as an event coordinator. During that time, I golfed about 4 times....BUT I'm pulling out the clubs again for this great event! Will it be some poor golfing on my part? Likely. Will I have fun with our Royal LePage Legacy team? Absolutely. Is it for a great cause? Most definitely!

This is a fundraiser and as such, I would love if you would generously give to the cause. The Youth for Christ in Carman is such an incredible asset to the community and for reaching teens with the love of Jesus!

Summers always feel so short in Manitoba, so make the most of them! We pulled the girls from school and took a week off to visit friends, and go camping and fishing with family. These are memories that the girls will talk about and remember for years.
