🏡 One of the things I really enjoy about taking buyers out is seeing how quickly the wish list can change once we start looking at actual properties.

Sometimes “a little more room” turns into enough space for horses, a shop, or a bigger garden. Other times, it is not even about the house itself. It is the quieter road, the extra breathing room, or stepping outside at night and realizing you can actually see the stars.

That is one of the things I love about working across Carstairs, Didsbury, Olds, Water Valley, Sundre, and the rural areas in between. You can start out feeling pretty sure of what you want, then see a completely different kind of property and suddenly something clicks.

I like watching that happen. Once we have been through a few places, people usually start talking less about the original checklist and more about the things they keep noticing, missing, or hoping to find again.

Sometimes the search tells you what the wish list couldn’t.
