Wow what a day! Feeling incredibly humbled and grateful after Awards Day at Royal LePage Prince Edward Realty.

I was honoured to receive the President's Gold Award and the Award of Excellence, achievements that would not be possible without the trust and support of my amazing clients, friends, family, and colleagues. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such important milestones in your lives.

What made the day even more special was receiving a Royal LePage Shelter Foundation Community Award for the Songs for Shelter event held in January. This recognition was completely unexpected and deeply meaningful. Together, we raised $7,240 for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, and every dollar stays right here in our community to support women and children experiencing intimate partner violence.

This award belongs to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, performed, volunteered, and supported the event. Your generosity is making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

The power of community in action!

This week, a cheque for $7,240 was proudly presented to Danya O’Malley, Executive Director of PEI Family Violence Prevention Services – Anderson House, through the incredible support of the Songs for Shelter event and the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.
This donation represents so much more than a number, it reflects a community coming together to support women and children experiencing family violence and to help provide safety, hope, and essential services right here on PEI.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported Songs for Shelter, the incredible artists who performed, KINLEY, Tara MacLean, and Alicia Toner, and those who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make this event such a success. Your generosity is helping make a meaningful difference for Island families.

The Bank of Canada announced this morning that they’re holding the overnight lending rate at 2.25%, no change for now.
