From what I can see - the newcomers aren't building many houses (yet), but the influx of new families purchasing homes in the greater Charlottetown area is having a huge trickle down effect on the rest of the province. Rentals, agricultural, and rural sales have all benefited.

P.E.I. recorded a big increase in housing starts last month over October of 2016, as demand pushed the construction season later into the fall, according to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.

It's been a great year so far and I look forward to keeping it going! Real estate is a career that I truly enjoy and that I knew I would be involved in since I was in my early 20's. I specialise in helping seniors downsize and move into beautiful senior friendly rental units. I enjoy helping newcomers find homes and get settled. Two years ago on this day, Carol and Steve became the co-owners of EXIT Realty PEI. In that two years – they have built their team from 16 agents to 29.
