September brought some encouraging signs as we head into fall!

📍 CHESTERMERE
51 sales | 135 new listings | 292 homes available | 5.73 months of supply | $690,200 benchmark price

Chestermere inventory came down from August, bringing months of supply back below six months, while prices remained relatively stable compared with last year.

📍 CALGARY
1,650 sales | 3,360 new listings | 6,500 active listings | just under 4 months of supply | $566,700 benchmark price

Calgary’s detached market remains relatively balanced, with just over three months of supply.

🍁 Why I LOVE the fall market:

For sellers, fall is one of my favourite times to showcase a home. 🍂🌊 The changing colours, beautiful views and cozy atmosphere make for stunning photography and video, allowing buyers to truly see the lifestyle your property offers. Buyers are also motivated to get settled before the winter months!

As we move through October and the rest of fall, we can expect a balanced market with opportunities on both sides, especially for properties that are priced strategically and marketed strategically.

If you’ve been thinking about buying or selling this could be a great window to make your move, with lower price ranges on townhouse/condos it’s also a great time to downsize or pick up an investment property! 💛
