𝗜 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘁.

When you look back, you realize that your choices make it easier to be the kind of dad you want to be.
You can be a dad who is actually present instead of too burnt out to show up. You can go for a walk by the river and let them talk. And suddenly you can give your kids freedom to jump on their bikes and go, and it is normal and safe.

At some point, your decisions get obvious, and things get easier.

Weird story ... but also kinda "RAD"

Kids from the 1980s couldn't get enough of a cult classic BMX-racing movie called "Rad," with key scenes filmed in Cochrane, overlooking what is now Greystone.

Find out why Josh wore out his family's copy of the VHS tape and how this weirdly popular movie forever changed his family legacy.

Bill Allen played the lead role of Cru Jones. Also starring 40-year anniversary editions were recently re-released for film festivals.

🚴‍♂️ 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗪𝗘𝗜𝗥𝗗 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 ... 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮 "𝗥𝗔𝗗."

Did you know a "cult classic" movie was filmed in Cochrane in the 1980s?

Back then, kids couldn't get enough of this BMX-racing movie. Key scenes were filmed in Cochrane, overlooking what is now Greystone.

Even though the movie bombed at the box office, it found a cult following on VHS. The lead role of Cru Jones was played by Bill Allen, and recently, 40th anniversary editions of the movie were re-released for film festivals.

Easy entertainment this long weekend. This is where everyone will be.
Stop rushing and overplanning and get outside and explore.
The pathways are waking up, and suddenly, a simple walk is exactly what you need.
For something fun with the kids, EggaPOOLooza at SLS Centre is worth checking out. (Spots fill up fast, so it’s one to plan ahead for.)
