Natural wood textures, matte black accents and layered materials come together to create a home that feels curated and inviting. The homeowner liked a lot about their original kitchen layout, but the cabinetry was falling apart and the space was missing practical storage. They also wanted a place where a couple people could sit and chat while meals were being prepared.

We reworked the layout, removing a wall and adding cabinetry and storage along the original dining nook. This also allowed us to incorporate functional seating while keeping the space connected to the rest of the home. The sink location was improved for better flow, and the new cabinetry introduces a more interesting door profile that adds character while still feeling timeless.

Natural granite countertops bring depth and interest, while the tile backsplash adds subtle texture. Warm wood counters and floating shelves introduce a layer of warmth and provide space for a bit of décor.

A thoughtful refresh that keeps what worked, while making everyday life a little better.

I spent a few days earlier this week at the Las Vegas Market: surrounded by design, craftsmanship, and innovation with one clear goal in mind: to keep learning, refining, and growing so I can better serve my clients.

Markets like this are about more than sourcing beautiful pieces. They are about staying curious, building relationships, understanding what is next, and bringing that knowledge home in a thoughtful and intentional way.

Every trip like this strengthens my perspective, sharpens my process, and ultimately elevates the spaces I create. Grateful for the opportunity to step back, learn, and return inspired.

This vintage tv tray stays in the back of my SUV now. Construction sites don’t always have a finished surface for my laptop, so this gives me somewhere to put it down (that isn’t the floor covered in drywall dust)!

I always dread posting pictures of myself but it’s probably time… Here I am just living the dream… making homes spectacular one throw pillow at a time (HAHA).



Décor is just the tip of the iceberg, and a very small part of what I do. I like to help with every stage of a project, from the initial planning of a renovation or new build (do we have the budget to move the wall, where will the switch work best, which tile should we go for and what will the pattern be?) to the final touches or furniture and decor.
