Some homes aren’t just walls and a roof — they’re where generations grow up, where corners hold memories, and where love lives in every room.
My clients have lived in their beloved home since the 70s. They bought it brand new, raised their kids there, and filled it with decades of laughter, family dinners, and milestones.
Now, after selling that special place, they’re moving across the country to be closer to family, making room for new memories — sleepovers with grandbabies, cozy corners, and cherished heirlooms like their antique China cabinet.
It wasn’t just about a house — it was about feeling at home. When he saw the Canadian Pacific picture on the wall, the same one he’d had in his 1970s home, he knew this was the one. And the night before the showing, she woke up at 2 a.m. with a deep sense of peace, knowing this was it — even before she had seen the house.
This journey required patience, trust, faith, and grace. Every inch of their future new home was measured, every detail considered, to honour the life they’ve built while stepping into a new chapter.
At the end of the day, everyone is happy. Relationships were built. Trust was honored. Dreams continue in a new space, and memories will keep being made.
Here’s to home — old and new. 🩷
