challenge. My family has a long history in Cold Lake, the Lefebvre's were some of the first pioneers to settle the area over 100 years ago. The idea of a better and more prosperous life out West spurred my Great Grandfather Z.A. This notion still rings true as our population has grown year-over-year, mostly with young families! Cold Lake has been my playground for 26 years! In the summer, Cold Lake transforms into a paradise in Alberta. When the days are long and the sun is hot there is endless activities to enjoy. From early morning kayak sessions, quadding, wake boarding and weekend pontoon cruises to long walks along the beach! During the winter months, Cold Lake plays host to a snowy wonderland for snowmobiling, skating and ice fishing! Cold Lake is also home to the largest ski hill in northeastern Alberta, Kinosoo Ridge Snow Resort. This city has something for everyone!
