Sidelaunch Days is back to celebrate everything we love about life by the water in Collingwood! ⛵️🌊

Named after our historic Collingwood Shipyards where ships were launched sideways into the harbour, this annual festival is packed with free, family-friendly events all weekend long.

Here is a quick snapshot of what is happening across the harbour:

🎶 Friday, Aug. 7: Kick off the weekend with live music at the Shipyards Amphitheatre featuring the Lisa Hutchison Band at 6:00 PM, followed by the Toronto All-Star Big Band at 7:00 PM.

⛵️ Saturday, Aug. 8: Head to Sidelaunch Way and Harbourview Park for tours of the Tall Ship Playfair, Sky Splash water jet aerobatics, Kite Fest, free 30-minute paddleboard rentals, and kid-friendly crafts.

🛶 Sunday, Aug. 9: Take a trip around the harbour in the Big Canoe, tour the Tall Ship Playfair, or try out stand-up paddleboarding!

The July market numbers are in, and Southern Georgian Bay real estate continues to highlight strong localized demand alongside steady, balanced conditions across our communities.

As we head into the second half of the summer, high-demand hubs are showing solid price resilience while inventory levels continue to give buyers room to make confident decisions.

Here is what you need to know about this month's snapshot:

📈 Strong Momentum & Key Gains
Collingwood: Showed impressive year-over-year growth with the median selling price climbing 14% to $824,698. Sales activity picked up significantly (+18.5% YoY) with 64 homes sold, averaging 48 days on market.

The Blue Mountains: Rebounded powerfully month-over-month, climbing 29% to a median selling price of $1,277,875. While new listings dipped 12%, turn-key properties near the hills and waterfront continue to drive premium value.

Clearview: Saw an 88% jump in year-over-year sales volume with prices holding strong at $823,920 (+13.2% YoY).

Meaford experienced a month-over-month price bounce of 11.8% up to $866,576.

⚖️ Balanced Opportunities for Buyers
Wasaga Beach continues to offer approachable entry points with a median price of $598,200.

Tiny Township saw 38 sales (+40% YoY) with prices stabilizing at $755,311, giving buyers steady negotiating room.
