I love year end lists! Most of the Real Estate news and panic we heard this year came from "Major Markets" (ie TO, Van, Calgary) that truthfully are over-heated and needed a correction.
Our Area had it's second best year ever as prices stabilized and people saw value in Georgian Bay property.
Who knows what 2013 will bring, but it looks like a solid, balanced market with deals to had by buyers and a more confident economy for seller's!

Consumers must be getting tired of hearing the experts cry wolf about rising interest rates and a housing crash

Interesting. Speaks to the national average vs. Local Real Estate Boards. South Georgian Bay is doing just fine against the average I'd say. Its not booming, but we are holding our own!

Hi Everyone! In my relentless pursuit of even less free time, I've started this page as a way to keep in touch with many contacts who are getting more and more difficult to keep track of! If you were invited as a "friend", its because you are a valuable contact to me, which may mean the line of work you are in, a past client, someone I'm working with right now, where you live now, or more than likely a very good friend of the Georgian Bay area. I promise...no "latest listings" posts, I don't play Farmville or anything, this is strictly contact related.
