They’ll prioritize access over square footage.
Why this matters: Being steps from trails, skiing, the water, and fitness matters more than having extra rooms they don’t use.
Prediction #2:
Homes that support an active lifestyle will win.
This is the opposite of what most people think is happening. Storage for bikes, skis, and kayaks, mudrooms, and flexible spaces will matter more than formal layouts.
Prediction #3:
Year-round recreation will drive housing decisions.
This one is the opportunity almost no one is talking about yet — properties that support four-season living will outperform traditional family homes.
