There is truly nothing better than closing day for my incredible clients! Seeing a family get the keys to their dream house is the absolute best part of this job. 🔑😃

But let’s be honest, moving day also means a whole lot of work. When it comes to closing gifts, I love moving away from the standard wine and cheese baskets and tailoring something thoughtful and practical for the family's next chapter.

For this move, that meant two things:

🎈 Fun for the kids: A little treat from to keep the little ones elated and occupied while mom and dad tackle the first round of house projects.

🌿 Eco-friendly prep: A stash of delightful, environmentally friendly cleaning supplies from to make getting settled just a little easier.

As my client beautifully put it, sometimes great cleaning supplies and happy kids are way more meaningful than a bottle of wine! 😂

As we head into the summer season, the market continues to offer distinct advantages for buyers looking to plant roots in our beautiful region. ☀️

Overall, the regional market remains settled in buyer's market territory. With a sales-to-listings ratio of 23.80% and a softer year-over-year average regional price of $777,816, buyers are continuing to benefit from incredible choice, excellent negotiating leverage and more accessible entry points across the board.

But as we always say, real estate is hyper-local. Here is exactly what happened in our primary backyards last month:

🌳 Collingwood: Prices remain remarkably steady here! The average sale price settled at $795,803 (a minor dip of just 0.36% YOY), with 46 units changing hands. It is a highly resilient and reliable market.

🏔️ The Blue Mountains: The average sale price landed at $924,403. With a highly flexible 20.26% sales-to-listings ratio, conditions here heavily favour buyers looking for excellent negotiating power.

Thanks to a generous donation, the Town is offering incredible rebates to help residents grow our tree canopy and create vital habitats for our local pollinators. 🦋

The "Green" Details: Town of Collingwood residents can receive a 50% rebate (up to $150) on:
🌳 Native Trees: Up to 2 trees per property.
🌳 Pollinator Gardens: Transform your space into a butterfly and bee sanctuary.

How to Participate:

It's the most wonderful time of the year in south Georgian Bay! 🥚🌻

The Collingwood Farmer's Market is BACK starting tomorrow 8am - 1pm. This is easily one of my fave stops to make over the weekend when I'm not setting up for an open house or touring clients.

Shopping local and supporting our incredible small farms has never been more important. Plus, there is nothing like a Saturday morning downtown to remind you why we love living here so much. 🌿
