It is my pleasure to see that Boots on the Bruce for Shelter funds are finding their way to select shelters across the country! Women's Place of South Niagara Inc. attended my hike on the first day of my 900km trek of the Bruce Trail, and I truly appreciated their support - and so, $5,000 is theirs to do with what they will, to benefit their residents, whom they are saving from domestic violence.

Walking 900 kilometers to raise funds for women's shelters is no small feat! Thank you again, Linda Murphy for helping our clients as part of your journey!

You may want to read all the way to the end - there's a pretty good punchline!

Well, that's a wrap on one heck of a real estate year - weird, but wonderful! 2020 has been a lot of things, and with many thanks to colleagues and clients, I am so grateful to receive Royal LePage's President's Gold Award, which means I share this honour with the top 10% of over 18,000 Royal LePage agents from across Canada - woohoo!! In a time when others have had to change jobs, or have lost their jobs, I can't tell you how thankful I am to have been trusted by so many home buyers and sellers, and of course, other Royal LePagers who referred their clients from other communities.

Now, as for the second photo...well, that is a representation of what is to-come...as of 12:00 midnight, December 31, I will stroll into a new year, in a new role...with my real estate license becoming "parked" at that time-stroke, I will still be able to receive and send out real estate referral business, but I will no longer be working directly with clients. My awesome successor, Shelly Paul, will handle the day-to-day real estate business. I, on the other hand, will be found where the next phase of life has called me to be: with my family, friends, church and community, and - of course - pursuing my passion for outdoor adventures!

After 19 years as a Teacher, Actor, and Communication Coach, followed by 18 years in Real Estate, I am PROtiring! Not quite ready for the rocking chair on the porch just yet...
