How do you meet your neighbours? Most renters are lucky to get to know their neighbours across the hall or directly next door through frequent run-ins. But it's not always easy to form connections with others in the building who you don't see often.

At the U, we host monthly breakfast mixers in the lobby to create opportunities for community engagement. Every month has a new menu, and residents are encouraged to bring their own coffee mugs to limit waste and create a cozy atmosphere. We've found that these events make the process of meeting neighbours more approachable.
