This week, our real estate Winner 🏆 & Wiener 🌭 of the week awards go to...

🏆 WINNER: Our exciting new chapter! Obviously, this week's winner has to be the excitement of officially joining REAL Broker! Thank you SO much to everyone who reached out with congratulations and well wishes this week. And a huge thank you to our colleagues at REAL for making us feel so welcome already. Change can be a little scary, but it can also be incredibly exciting and we're feeling very good about this one. We're looking forward to settling in, finding our groove and seeing what this next chapter brings! ❤️🏡

🌭 WIENER: The discombobulation of starting somewhere new. Because every exciting new beginning comes with a slightly chaotic flip side. New systems to learn. New processes to figure out. ✨ A NEW CHAPTER FOR JEN & ROB ✨

Well… we’ve been keeping a little secret. 👀

After a whole lot of conversations, research, number crunching and thinking about what we want the future of Jen & Rob to look like, we’ve made a pretty big decision:

We’ve officially joined REAL Broker Ontario - Cornwall! 🏡❤️

This is a bittersweet move for us. We have so much love and gratitude for Century 21 Shield Realty and the people there who have supported us, encouraged us and been part of our journey. Leaving people we genuinely care about was, without question, the hardest part of this decision.

But as our business has evolved into OUR business, we’ve also started looking differently at what we want to build together. REAL offers a structure that is uniquely suited to husband-and-wife real estate teams, along with opportunities that really align with where we see ourselves going.

And sometimes you just know when it’s time for the next chapter. ✨

So, what does this mean for our clients?

Honestly… not much. 😂

We’re still Jen & Rob. Still local. Still answering our phones. Still telling you what we actually think. Still making real estate educational, approachable and occasionally ridiculous. Still taking our responsibility to our clients very seriously, while refusing to take ourselves too seriously.

Same service. Same people. Same questionable sense of humour.

Just a new sign behind us. ❤️

After a lot of conversations, number crunching, soul searching and probably more spreadsheets than any two people should ever look at, Jen & Rob have made a big decision about the next chapter of their real estate business.

They’re joining REAL Broker!

With over five years of real estate experience and Rob’s 30+ year background as a Red Seal Electrician, they each bring something a little different to the table. It turns out that different perspectives, complementary strengths and actually really liking your coworker make for a pretty great team... marrying them first was apparently just a bonus!

As Jen & Rob began building their business as a team, they realized they wanted a brokerage that was uniquely set up to support husband-and-wife real estate teams; not just where they are today, but where they want to go.

And for them, that’s REAL.

This wasn’t a decision they made lightly. They have an enormous amount of love and respect for the people who have supported them along the way and helped them grow into the Realtors they are today. But sometimes growth means recognizing when an opportunity is the right fit for the next chapter, and being willing to take the leap.

For their clients, the important stuff isn’t changing: They’re still Jen & Rob. Same people. Same local knowledge, same honesty, and same humourous approach to working together. And the same commitment to taking exceptional care of the people who trust them with some of the biggest decisions of their lives.

They’re just building it somewhere new.
