Récemment, j’ai accueilli des invités adorables accompagnés de leur chienne, Chloé. Ils ont laissé un mot très touchant, accompagné d’une petite pierre souvenir et de plusieurs photos de nos moments partagés. Des invités devenus des amis. Merci d’avoir choisi de séjourner chez moi.

What to do on a rainy vacation day? Of course you dawn your best garbage bag rain coat, blow bubbles and fly a kite. These are memories to be cherished.

Playing tourist took me to Rustico. It’s such a perfect little village. We found this great little coffee shop/book store where we had a coffee and pastry. Across the road was an ice cream shop. We didn’t stop in but decided to make it a trip for another day. Rustico has a wonderful boardwalk and a few lovely restaurants; On The Dock, The cannery and Pedro’s. Definitely worth the visit if you’re visiting PEI. Also want to mention my dad’s favorite deep sea fishing from Aiden’s Deep Sea Fishing.

Took the day off to play tourist today making a stop at one of my favorite places, The Dunes gardens. They were spectacular as always. Definitely worth the visit. The gardens are free to visit, but be sure to stop into the gallery shop or the restaurant.

Summer school has ended and I finally have time to catch up on the gardening. Lily was my supervisor making sure I got it all done. Taking time now to enjoy some golf, relax on the upper deck, and enjoy the garden. The snow peas need harvesting almost daily, the yellow beans are just about ready, carrots are still very small.

Today is a rare day. No one in the suite and I have time to sit and relax out on the upper deck. It’s a beautiful day here in the shade. Just sitting and watching the boats in the harbour. Ahhhh… life is good.
