Yesterday I shared that I was stepping away from the team and moving forward on my own, and I promised there was another piece to the story that I had been patiently waiting to share.

I've officially joined Century 21 Shield Realty.

When I first started in real estate, I had a pretty clear idea of where I wanted to go, and over the last few years, I’ve checked off more of those boxes than I ever expected to this early in my career. Somewhere along the way, I realized that the next step was to build who I am as an individual in this industry, find my style, and find a place that would give me the space, support and freedom to keep building.

That’s what drew me to Century 21 Shield Realty.

When I left my house the morning I sat down with Troy, I was pretty convinced I was wasting his time by meeting with him. What I did not expect was to leave feeling like my home was somewhere I had never stepped foot in.

At Century 21, there’s a real emphasis on growth, creativity and collaboration, along with something I heard more than once in my conversations with Matt and Troy, "staying hungry" for what’s next.

It’s no secret that there’s been a lot of change happening lately… and I figured it was time to address the rumours head on and let you in on a secret I've been patiently waiting to share with you. 👀

When I came into this industry, I had a pretty clear picture of what I wanted and where I wanted to go. I knew I wanted to closely learn from Heather, eventually get into commercial real estate, and somewhere down the road, find the right partnership. Many of the boxes I created for myself have been checked off! It’s so beautiful to look back and say, “I am exactly where I wanted to be just a couple of years ago.”

I’m forever thankful for the wealth of knowledge I gained from Heather. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better mentor in those first few years, and I’ll always be grateful for the foundation she helped me build. Seriously, Heather, thank you so much. There are truly no words that can describe how thankful I am to you.

As time went on, things naturally shifted. Heather grew her own team, and I got to experience being part of one for the first time. Being on a team was never really something I saw for myself, but I genuinely enjoyed the experience and the growth that came with it over this past year.

But as an agent, my ideas have gotten bigger, my confidence has grown, and I think it’s important to recognize when it’s time to stop waiting for “someday” and start sticking to the plan you had for yourself in the first place.

So… here you have it. I’ve stepped away from the team and am moving forward on my own.

And what does that mean for my clients? Honestly, not much changes. If anything, you’ll have more of my undivided attention and dedication. You’ll also start seeing your wins celebrated right here, on my own page! From new listings hitting the market to sold signs, new keys, and everything in between. I want this page to be a place where I get to celebrate the people who trust me with some of the biggest moves of their lives.

I’ll still be doing what I love, helping people buy, sell, invest and make some pretty big decisions with the same honesty and evolving strategy that I always bring to the table. The difference is that I’m building my business around the way I’ve always envisioned it and I cannot wait for you to see what I have in store!

And remember how I said there’s been a lot of change lately?

Well… there’s actually another piece to this that I haven’t shared yet, which is partially why I’ve been a little quiet about all of this. There was more happening behind the scenes, and I wanted to wait until I could actually share the whole picture with you.
