While larger markets across Canada are still working through affordability pressure and volatility, the report points to supply-constrained secondary cities like Halifax as more stable and resilient. Slower growth? Yes. Major correction? Not what this report suggests.

Strong population growth, tight rental conditions, and limited inventory continue to support our market. Halifax isn’t overheating. It’s maturing.

While this is highly speculative and early news, the South Korean company Hanwha Ocean has been eyeing the old Imperial Oil site located in the Woodside area of Dartmouth. This would be absolutely massive and would be Transformational for Dartmouth.
