Meet Armando Mata…

Armando is a valued member of Evolve Realty Group, a top multi award-winning team, and brings a strong foundation in real estate along with a global perspective shaped by his upbringing in Mexico City. He has proudly called Halifax home since 2010.

After earning a degree in Global Business Management from Saint Mary’s University and spending five successful years with CIBC, Armando transitioned fully into real estate, where he continues to grow both personally and professionally.

A dedicated investor, Armando purchased his first property shortly after university and has since expanded into property development. Most recently, he and his wife built two lakefront A-frame cottages for short-term rentals, giving him valuable, hands-on insight into the investment side of real estate.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Armando is passionate about inclusive real estate. He works closely with the Latin community and is committed to making sure every client feels informed, supported, and confident throughout the process.

Outside of real estate, Armando enjoys soccer, golf, and tennis, as well as hiking with his wife, Iara, and their dog, Nova.
