Current about 900 active listings in HRM (+8.4%)

All this to be said, it was a slower January this year than it was in January of last year. However, we have seen increased activity in February so it will be interesting to see the stats once they are published for this month.

$598,272 average sale price (+4%)
Days on Market: 36 Day Average (+3 days from 2024)
Inventory currently: ~3 months. First half of 2025 was hovering around 2 months. The second half hovered between 2.5-3 months.
~885 active listings in HRM currently (was 810 last year at this time)
Bank of Canada dropped their overnight rate by 100 basis points

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Louie. It is impossible to put in words how much he was loved, but perhaps the number of monikers he had is a good indication- “Bean, Nene, Grub, Squish, Squonk, Bubba, Buddy, Steamboat, Babaganoushie, Pet, Little Fish”.

Seeing Louie every day, we hadn’t quite notice the extent of how much he had aged and slowed until looking back on old photos and videos. Although his passing seemed sudden to us, we believe he knew it was his time.

There was something about Louie that just drew people to him. From countless people stopping and asking to pet him over the years (sometimes even stopping their cars in order to do so!), to the seniors who looked forward to his visits when he was a therapy dog, to the thousands of followers he amassed online - his cheeky and stubborn personality stole the hearts of many. He even made the news - twice! If you knew Louie, we ask you please share your favourite memory of him.

Instead of focusing on the sadness of his passing, we would like to look back with joy on the wonderful life he lived. We have made a video of some of his happiest moments that we hope will make you smile and laugh, rather than cry. (The full video is on Instagram).

He knew nothing but love and gave nothing but love in return to us. We miss him dearly but he is at peace now, and we like to think he is running with a full breath and clear eyes through an endless field of soccer balls.
