Some real estate transactions stand out in a special way, and this one has been a highlight of 2026 so far!

After almost a year of hard work, patience, and perseverance, I was incredibly honoured to help The Eastern Shore Family Resource Association purchase their very own home for their organization.

This move means so much for our community. ESFRA is moving from a second-level space into a fully wheelchair accessible building with more room inside for expanded programming, and outdoor space that will create even more opportunities for children and families, including future summer camps.

Watching a wonderful local organization take this huge step forward has been incredibly rewarding, both professionally and personally. Knowing this new space will help support families across the Eastern Shore for years to come makes this one especially meaningful to me.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making this happen. I can’t wait to see all the amazing things that will happen in this new space!

One of the most common questions we get as realtors this time of year is, “How’s the market?” So here’s a quick update on what we’re seeing so far this spring here in HRM

- Inventory is up, with 1,064 active listings compared to 976 at this time last year, giving buyers more options than we’ve seen in recent springs.

- Homes are taking a little longer to sell, with the average days on market increasing to 46 days, up from 37 last year. The pace has slowed slightly, but homes are still moving quickly in many areas.

- Sale prices continue to show steady growth. The average sale price is now $591,864, up from $579,404 in 2025.

Overall, the market is starting to balance out. Prices are still rising, but buyers have more time and choice, while sellers need to be more strategic with pricing and marketing to stand out...but don't worry, that's kind of our thing!

HRM is a huge area, so if you’re curious what the market looks like in your specific neighbourhood (Cole Harbour, Fall River, Porters Lake, etc.), reach out, and I’ll send you a market update for your area!
