Do you take pride in keeping a property looking its absolute best? Are you great with people, dependable, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves?

We are looking for a retired live-in Superintendent for our brand-new building at 1445 Dieppe Boulevard — someone who takes ownership, values responsibility, and wants to be an important part of a well-maintained residential community.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working with people, and being the go-to person who helps keep everything running smoothly.

Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the building, both inside and out
• Minor electrical repairs
• Basic plumbing repairs
• Patching and painting as needed
• General maintenance and upkeep of common areas
• Unit turnovers between tenants moving in and out
• Snow shoveling and salting walkways during winter months
• Monitoring exterior grounds during summer months, including debris cleanup and reporting fallen branches/trees
• Reporting all maintenance concerns promptly to the Property Manager
• Coordinating and working with tradespeople and contractors when required
• Assisting tenants with building-related concerns
• Conflict resolution and maintaining positive tenant relations
• Performing regular building inspections and identifying maintenance needs before they become larger issues
• Keeping clear communication regarding ongoing tasks, completed work, and outstanding issues
Ideal Candidate:
• Retired and looking for a live-in position
• Friendly, professional, and a strong people person
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and follow through consistently
• Reliable, responsible, and takes pride in their work
• Comfortable handling minor repairs and general maintenance independently
• Experienced in building maintenance, property care, or a similar role is considered an asset

Training will be provided.

Compensation will be discussed upon expression of interest and review of experience, skills, and qualifications.
