With the stay at home ending on Tuesday, and retail opening up. Please take extra time during your travels, and provide respect to the plow operators, salt trucks and sidewalk crews who will be working around the clock Monday into Tuesday to ensure things are safe for you to do so. We are there to minimize the inconvenience mother nature provides you on your journey.

There has been issued a Snowfall warning in effect-Enviornment Canada Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 35 cm is expected. Two rounds of precipitation are expected Monday into Tuesday morning across portions of southern Ontario. The first one is expected to begin overnight or early Monday morning with 5 cm of snow expected by afternoon. Potentially higher amounts of up to 10 cm may occur near Lake Erie. The precipitation may diminish during the afternoon, but another round of even heavier snow is expected to move in Monday evening and persist until Tuesday morning. An additional 10 to 20 cm is likely. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Please don't follow plows trucks, loaders, tractors on site, while they are plowing. They always end at the snow pile, and you will end up there too if you follow them. Lastly, give distance to salt equipment. It blows my mind how closely I see people following salt trucks, but I will save that for another day.

Stay safe on your travels if you must go out on Tuesday.
