The real estate season is heating up fast this year, so let me tell you a quick story about why choosing the right broker actually matters.
Sharon was the seller.
She gave her condo to a team of two agents in her area. On paper, it sounded reassuring. In reality? No one was really in charge. Her questions sat unanswered. Her concerns felt like inconveniences. She didn’t feel important—because she wasn’t being treated like she was. Eight months went by. No offers.
Barely any activity. Just a sign on the lawn, some photos online, and a whole lot of waiting.
Thankfully, Sharon didn’t let the contract quietly die. She lost patience—and honestly, that saved her months of wasted time so cancelled the mandate.
Then comes my favorite part.
Her mother looked at her one day and said, “Why don’t you call that guy? He's not smilling much but looks like he knows what to do and he has nice blue eyes”
😂
That guy was me.
Lovely family. We talked. We analyzed the situation together, calmly and honestly. The weak spots in the strategy jumped out immediately. It was the classic approach: put the sign up, take photos, and hope the market does the work.
That’s not selling. That’s waiting.
Sharon didn’t need a listing agent.
She needed a real estate salesperson. Big difference.
I proposed a fail-safe plan. A real plan. With adjustments, backups, and accountability built in.
30 days later, I’m proud to say:
Sharon’s condo is sold—at a price higher than she expected. 🎉
Congratulations, Sharon. And thank you for trusting me with your home.
You don’t have to hire me.
But you do deserve the right person to guide you.
Before you choose your realtor, ask questions:
• What’s the plan?
• And if that doesn’t work… what’s Plan B? C? D? E?
• Why this strategy?
• Why this price?
• Why now or this commission structure?
If you’re selling this year, I’d genuinely love the chance to be one of your options. 🥂💥✨
