10 Things to Know About Real Estate:

1. Upgrades don't always increase your home's value, but they can significantly improve your chances of selling.
2. Cleanliness is everything! A spotless home tells buyers it's been well cared for.
3. Curb appeal creates the first—and often the strongest—impression.
4. Minimize pet odors and clutter before showings.
5. Neutral paint colors and décor appeal to the widest range of buyers.
6. Low-quality fixes often lead to lower offers. Quality updates can make a noticeable difference.
7. Everything is negotiable. Price, closing date, repairs, and inclusions are all part of the negotiation process.
8. Time of year matters. Spring is the most active market!
9. Location, location, location! It's one factor that can never be changed and remains one of the biggest drivers of value.
10. When a home is priced right, it sells. Proper pricing attracts more buyers and can lead to stronger offers.
