As many may be aware, we have merged with CORE Geomatics. This will allow a broader range of services for our clients. Historically we would survey a parcel, send it to a CIVIL ENGINEER, and for ENVIRONMENTAL assessments and then be able to proceed with development applications. By having these services in house now, we can save our clients time and money and streamline projects on a collaborative team. Of course, if you just require a survey, we still have all the same local Drumheller staff! We can also provide services province wide, BC, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

The biggest surprise clients get when engaging us (or any surveyor) is the timeline to get surveys done. In the interest of planning, here’s some expected timelines.

RPR with compliance: typical 1 month, up to 6 weeks

Subdivision: Typical 8 months, up to 1 year

House stake out: typical 2 weeks, up to 1 month

Lot line marking: typical 1 week, up to 2 weeks

Utility locates: typical 2-3 days, up to 1 week

Obviously there are variables that could allow these to be less or more, but this is a good guideline to help you plan. We attempt to expedite when circumstances require it, but cannot guarantee this.
