Job description: PMMA
This role supports the day-to-day operations of our licensed Property Managers. The successful applicant will provide enthusiastic, high-quality administrative and client service, manage detailed legal documentation, research answers when needed, and confidently navigate digital tools (MS Office, accounting systems, PDF editing, Buildium, or other cloud-based platforms are considered assets). This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, stays informed of evolving legislation, and can balance a wide range of tasks while meeting daily, weekly, monthly, and annual deadlines.
Key Competencies:
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to relay updates to Managers
• Strong time-management skills and adaptability as priorities shift
• Proficiency with MS Office 365, PDF editing, online inspection tools, and hosted data platforms
• Professional interpersonal and phone etiquette, including managing difficult situations
• Excellent organizational skills for preparing, reviewing, and submitting essential documents
• Ability to anticipate Manager needs and support ongoing workflows
• A team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
• Ability to support field tasks such as inspections, notices, or meetings when required
Compensation & Schedule:
We offer competitive wages (based on experience), a Tuesday–Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., a supportive and casual work environment, benefits, industry training opportunities, and access to an experienced team. Pemberton Holmes is proud to be one of Vancouver Island’s longest-running boutique property management firms.
A clean background and criminal record check are required. Applicants must also have a valid driver’s licence.
