A beautiful afternoon spent exploring Somenos Marsh Conservation Area and the Garry Oak Preserve. Quiet trails, marsh views, and one very photogenic heron made for the perfect local walk.

It’s easy to forget how many incredible spots we have right here in the Cowichan Valley until you slow down and take them in. Fresh air, peaceful views, and one of those simple moments that reminds you why we love calling this place home.

One of those Cowichan Valley days.
