JULY MARKET UPDATE 🏡
July saw buyers a little more active across the Cowichan Valley, with single family home sales climbing from 60 in June to 69 in July.
At the same time, inventory barely moved and average prices held around the $844,000 mark. Homes did take a little longer to sell, averaging 47 days on market, so buyers may have more time to consider their options while sellers need to be mindful of pricing.
The takeaway? The market is moving, but it isn't racing. There are opportunities on both sides when you understand what’s happening in your particular price range and neighbourhood.
