She almost didn’t buy this home…
But she couldn’t forget the backyard. 🐾
Here’s the story ↓
This client was originally trying to decide between Calgary or Edmonton.
So we did something a little different.
I partnered with a .realestate in Calgary to show homes there, while I handled showings in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
My client's must-haves were simple:
• Space for her and her mom to live together
• Enough separation for privacy
• A yard big enough for her dog
The interesting part?
The very first home we saw together stuck in her mind.
At first she thought it needed too much work, so we kept looking.
But after seeing other homes, she realized something:
She couldn’t stop thinking about that yard.
So we went back.
Luckily the home was still available, and we were able to negotiate a fair price that worked for both buyer and seller.
Now she has a home where:
✔️ She and her mom can comfortably live together
✔️ Her dog has the yard she deserves 🐕
✔️ And the purchase made financial sense
A big thank you to the listing agent for being great to work with and helping make the process smooth for everyone involved.
Sometimes the right home isn’t perfect, but it just checks the boxes that matter most.

Would a big yard be the deciding factor for you?
