One thing we’ve learned in real estate is that patience is one of our greatest strengths.

Need us to negotiate for hours? No problem.
Wait for the perfect home? We’re all in.
Navigate delays, paperwork, and last-minute surprises? We’ve got it covered.

But apparently… all that patience has spilled over into my personal life, too. 🍍🍰

A few weeks ago, Carmen and I were out celebrating Karen’s birthday when she started describing this magical upside-down pineapple cake that she knew I’d love. Then came the words every hungry person wants to hear:

“I’ll make you one.”

Well… here we are. 😂

Carmen can confirm this conversation happened, so I have a witness. At this point, I feel like I’m under contract, conditions have been waived, possession day has come and gone… and I’m still waiting for the keys… I mean, the cake. 🤣

Karen, if you see this, just know I still believe. Until then, I’ll be over here slowly withering away while dreaming of caramelized pineapple goodness. 🍍💛

If real estate has taught us anything, it’s that good things are worth waiting for… but Karen, I think we’ve officially reached “possession delayed” status. 😂
