20 years in real estate and I still don’t take this for granted.

People trust me with their homes, their finances, their plans and often some of the biggest changes happening in their lives.

Getting the listing is exciting. Finding the house is exciting. Putting up the sold sign is exciting.

But the privilege is the trust behind all of it.

I get to help people move on, move up, start over, come home and begin something new.

What a privilege that this is what I get to do. 🤍

Big hair. Bigger shoulder pads. Brick phones. Top Gun. And you could buy the average Edmonton home for $74,306. 😳

A lot has changed since 1986.

Thankfully, so have the phones. 😂

I wasn’t selling real estate quite yet, but as I head into my 20th year in real estate, I couldn’t resist jumping on this trend.

The prices have changed. The marketing has definitely changed. But the best part of this business hasn’t.

This one feels a little different.

When your seller is your trainer, your friend, and your client, handing over the SOLD sign is definitely bittersweet.

I’m so happy we got this home sold and that I was trusted to be part of such an important move. But saying goodbye to a friend and her family is the part of this job that doesn’t get any easier. ❤️
