I moved to Edmonton the day before New Year’s Eve of 1998. Other than knowing I was starting school in a week, I really had no plan. I barely knew anyone and when I got here I found out I didn’t have a confirmed place to live (it all worked out, but that’s a whole other story).

On the first day of school I got on the first bus that came to my stop. Thankfully the nice bus driver walked me through my route and then gave me a piece of advice that would have a profound effect that has guided me through life to this day. He said “just remember…every road leads to home”.

At the time, I didn’t truly know what that looked like. I used to think home was a destination. A perfect place; four walls and a roof. But now I get it…home is a feeling, and over the years I’ve come to see the truth in it. Every experience, every challenge, the ups and downs…have led me to where I need to be, and I have done this by following my own compass; following my heart.

Each road I have taken has gifted me with friendships, experiences and lessons, and I am grateful for them all. I have also learned that sometimes the road circles you right back to the people who lift you up, the work that inspires you and the kind of energy that makes big goals feel possible.

I’m very excited to share that I have decided to join working alongside some of my favourite people and stepping into a space that already feels like home!

8 years ago today I wrote and passed my final real estate licensing exam, walked to my car, and cried! I have this day marked in my calendar, and every year I reflect back on all of the years past and am so grateful for the life that I have been able to build, and continue to build.

This day 8 years ago was truly the first day of the rest of my life. It was the realization that our dreams can come true when we clear our minds of all of the BS stories we tell ourselves that keep us stuck. I spent so many years feeling that there was something more that I needed to do in my life, and following my heart in this direction I was able to turn my dreams into my reality.

These past 8 years have been quite the ride, full of wins and lessons learned and I wouldn’t change a single thing because I absolutely love the life I am living today. I say it all the time that I have the best people in my life and I really mean it! From the people in my closest circle, all of my family and friends, colleagues, clients and those of you that I interact with through social media, I’m happy you are all here and I can’t wait to see what is up next!!

🏡 Happy possession day to a very special family! I look back at the last 10 years that we have known each other and my heart feels full. A good portion of our springs and summers were spent at the ball diamonds and travelling all throughout Alberta together for provincial ball, and our falls and winters were spent sharing carpooling duties 5 days/week for the boys to do high performance training. Our two oldest grew up together and our two youngest grew up together. We love each other’s kids as though they are our own, we have each other’s backs and our doors are always open. Your family became my family and my family became your family. (Carol and Rick included, of course!!❤️) Your last home was the hub of so many memories created for our boys and their friends and I have no doubt that your new home will do the same! Wishing you all many years of happiness in your beautiful new home!!❤️🏡🥰

This adorable cottage at Lac La Nonne SOLD in just 20 days!! This home away from home created countless memories for my sellers who have been clients of mine for many years!
