Here we see shark bite fittings. These fittings are not bad, but they’re also not good if not installed correctly. As you can see here, the homeowner marked the pipe to see if any movement happens. And on the PEX connection from the hose bib, it has gradually shifted and moved. Crimping or soldering is the best method for preventing leaks and water damage.
