A great way to wrap up the summer! Last week, our Edmonton Operations team came together for an End of Summer BBQ, bringing together field crews, office staff, and our summer students for an afternoon of great food, great company, and plenty of fun.

With a food truck, ice cream to cool things down, and a table full of prizes and giveaways, the event was a chance to celebrate another busy season and thank everyone for the hard work, dedication, and positive energy they bring to LN every day.

A special thank you to our summer students for spending the season with us. We enjoyed having you on the team and wish you all the best as you head back to school. We hope to see you back again next year!

Another Jersey Earned. Congratulations to Joey Roy on receiving his 5-Year Service Award Jersey!

Over the past five years, Joey has become much more than a skilled utility locator. He has grown into a trusted leader, mentor, and advocate for quality and safety across our team. Known for his attention to detail, depth of technical knowledge, and commitment to doing things the right way, In his current role as Ground Disturbance Coordinator, Joey plays an important role in helping develop the next generation of locators while ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service.

Whether he's solving complex challenges, supporting crews, sharing his knowledge with newer team members, or helping maintain the standards that LN is known for, Joey consistently leads by example. Five years of service is more than just time invested. It's five years of commitment, growth, leadership, and making a difference.

Back to School, But Not Goodbye!

As summer comes to a close, we'd like to extend a huge thank you to the incredible students who spent their summer with LN this year. Aiden, Jayden, Josh, Kyle, Michael, Soyam, and Xiaofeng (Francis) each brought energy, curiosity, professionalism, and a willingness to learn that made a lasting impact on our teams across the organization.

At LN, our student program is about more than just summer employment. We believe in giving students meaningful, hands-on experience, exposure to real projects, and the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge. In return, our students bring fresh perspectives, new ideas, and enthusiasm that help strengthen our team and culture.

Watching these future professionals grow in confidence, develop new skills, and become valuable contributors throughout the summer has been one of the highlights of our year. To our students, we thank you for all your hard work and dedication. We are proud to have been part of your journey and look forward to seeing everything you accomplish in the coming school year.

That's a wrap on another fantastic charity golf season!

This past Saturday, LN brought our Café experience to the ATCO Charity Golf Tournament in Edmonton, serving up iced coffees with a little extra kick courtesy of Gretzky 99 and Baileys, along with plenty of sweet café treats for golfers throughout the day.

From great conversations and even better swings to our signature LN swag, it was the perfect way to close out a summer filled with client, partner, and community events across Alberta.

A huge thank you to ATCO for hosting this tournament and for bringing together so many great people in support of a great cause. We always appreciate the opportunity to connect with clients, industry partners, and friends outside the office and job site.

As the golf season comes to an end, we're grateful for all the organizations that welcomed us onto the course this year. Here's to the relationships built, the laughs shared, and another successful season on and off the fairways.

Last Thursday, we were proud to sponsor a hole at the Enbridge Charity Golf Tournament in Calgary.

The LN Circus made another appearance, bringing plenty of fun, laughs, and great conversations throughout the day. Events like these are a great reminder that strong partnerships are built both on and off the job site.

LN is the Greatest Show On Turf!

One of the things we look forward to every summer is the Aecon West Charity Golf Tournament. We've proudly supported this event for years, and yesterday we returned as a hole sponsor with a vintage circus-themed experience designed to bring a few smiles to the course.

Guests enjoyed cotton candy, old fashioned cocktails, Village Ice Cream, popcorn, mini donuts, vintage toys, and plenty of fun swag. Our photo boards were a hit, giving golfers the chance to clown around and capture a few memorable moments throughout the day.

Events like this are about more than golf. They're about bringing people together, strengthening relationships, supporting great causes, and having a little fun while doing it.

Thank you to Aecon for another outstanding tournament. We love being part of this event and are already looking forward to next year.
