Children will place their shoes by the fireplace and the next morning discover them filled with treats (oranges, chocolate coins). Others take today to do a small act of kindness as a nod to the tradition. Some easy suggestions: buy a coffee for a stranger, donate non-perishable goods to your local food bank, sponsor an Easter Seals recipient (contact me for details, we have many through the office), donate socks, gloves and warm clothing items to local shelters or compliment a stranger and be extra generous with your smiles today, sometimes the little acts of kindness go a long way.
