Nov 22, 2020 • Shawn was having a hard time breathing - I raced him to the hospital. (He has bad asthma)

Due to pandemic we were both admitted into the hospital, we both tested positive for COVID-19.

It was a super scary time, especially with Shawn’s asthma. I can’t believe it’s been a year… but, as I reflect on that time - we are so incredibly blessed to recover quickly & we were well taken care of from a distance from our best friends 🙏🏼

We’ve been living in this world for the almost two years and although there are aspects of life that have returned to somewhat normal we’re very much so living in a different world than what we’re used to.

This Christmas sadly will be the 2nd year in a row we won’t be spending with my Nana & Papa as we are being extra careful with them as they are in their 80’s and live in Ontario 🤍

Praying hard for this world & for the day that I can hug my grandparents again 💗💗💗

We brought this little man home. 🖤
He was waiting at the end of the driveway when we drove out to the farm. He’s FULL of energy, loves being outside & he’s such a sweet boy. This year flew by, but we so much to be thankful for.

Last year on this Day .ca took over our house to completely redesign our living room 😍

AKA the start of all my house project ideas 😁👏🏼

This was the first house we bought when we got married in 2014 & during covid we decided to stay here for a couple more years.

Our house is 1500 sq ft - 3 bedrooms & 2.5 bathrooms.
It’s a perfect size for us in the chapter of life we are in. But it needed some serious“DESIGN LOVE”. So I started my “project list”. My style had drastically changed from my early twenties, aka no money - buy whatever 😂

My inspiration came from .ca & .harris

After the living room we changed out all the carpet & replaced the carpet on the second floor with walnut hardwood from

We changed out all of lighting in our home from our friends + & .ca

We redid our pantry thanks to + & 👨🏼‍🎨

All of our drapery is .ca ✨

Our most recent project was we changed our entire Master Bedroom ( .ca )

AND now I’m working on my office / closet 🤩

Thanks for following along - it’s been so fun for me, not so fun for Shawn haha but he’s happy with my selections 🥰
